Who We Are
Elijah's Promise takes emergency food assistance to the next level striving to serve food with optimum nutritional value wherever possible. Providing calories is not enough. Elijah's Promise is working to insure that we are providing well balanced nutrition that promotes health and supports the well being of those we serve. Volunteers are central to the work of Elijah's Promise. Volunteers help prepare and serve meals collect donations of food and supplies and help with the maintenance of our facility.
What We Do
Since Elijah's Promise began in 1989 we have been helping low-income people in the central New Jersey community. From nutritious meals to social services and health screening to culinary arts job training and entrepreneurial training to our own catering business Elijah's Promise has been moving people from hunger to wholeness. Please join us in the effort to alleviate hunger and empower lives.
