Who We Are
The goals of the 4-H Youth Development Program are to:
- Provide informal, educational programs for youth in grades K-13 (one year out of high school)
- Encourage responsibility, community awareness and character development in youth
- Strengthen skills for adults working with youth through publications and training
- Improve community partnerships and collaborations
What We Do
Our mission is to help the diverse population of Somerset County and New Jersey adapt to a rapidly changing society and to improve their lives through an educational process that uses science-based knowledge focused on issues and needs related to family and economic well-being; agriculture the environment natural resource management and youth development.
