Who We Are
The NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders, Inc. (NJCTS) is the nation's first Center of Excellence for Tourette Syndrome. The Center recognizes the importance of educating the public, medical professionals and teachers about TS. We are dedicated to providing support and advocacy of children and families with Tourette Syndrome and its associated disorders.
What We Do
Through partnerships and collaborations NJCTS provides support and education of families, referrals to physicians and therapists with expertise in the treatment of TS, school, faculty and peer in-service programs, educational webinars, a Family Retreat Weekend and the Tim Howard Leadership Academy for teenagers. We actively support research into TS through our NJCTS Cell and DNA Sharing Repository at Rutgers and we partner with the Rutgers TS Clinic to provide therapeutic services for families as well as training for psychology graduate students.
