Our Mission…The Foodshed Alliance works to strengthen our local food system, helping family farms thrive, increasing access to healthy food for those in need while reducing food waste on farms, and protecting our rural environment.

We need your support to put boots on the ground to help New Jersey's family farms thrive, provide access to farm-fresh healthy local food for all, regardless of means, and protect our rural environment. A few of our projects include Growing farmers, by improving land access for local farming, increasing access to local food through distribution, LocalShare gleaning program to reduce waste, and farmers' markets to make local food accessible all year.
