Halloween Bowl-a-thon

Join us at Hanover Lanes this October for the annual Employment Horizons Bowl-A-Thon. The fundraiser features a spooky and fun Halloween theme complete with costumed bowlers and prizes. Sponsored by Matthijssen, Inc.,ADP Management Services, and Paycom, the Bowl-A-Thon supports the Cedar Knolls based nonprofit agency that provides job training and placement services to individuals with disabilities. The Bowl-A-Thon will be held on Sunday, October 27 from 12-3pm at Hanover Lanes in East Hanover. The fundraiser is one of the most anticipated of the year for the organization’s program participants, who start planning their costumes weeks ahead in anticipation of the event. The costume contest is always a treat, with many vying for the top spots each year! Some awards last year went to Scariest Costume, Best Partner Costume, and Best Homemade Costume. The event provides hard-working people with disabilities a chance to celebrate with their coworkers, while raising money to enhance job skills training.  Anyone can join in the fun while supporting the agency’s mission by purchasing tickets online for $25 per bowler. There are also opportunities to become a lane, lunch, or costume contest sponsor. Those unable to bowl can also show their support by joining the Bowl-A-Thon luncheon for $8.00 or by making a Bowl-A-Thon donation.  Checks may be mailed to Employment Horizons, 10 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.  Pre-registration is required by October 21st.
