Opportunities From: Volunteer Opportunities at United Way of Northern New Jersey

Family Promise of Morris County provides families needed emergency and temporary housing and supportive services to assist them in becoming self-sufficient once again.  To assist those families, the following types of donations are needed:

*Personal Care Items (e.g. shampoo, deodorant, soap, razors, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, tooth brushes, etc.)

*Seasonal clothing and coats (new) - in particular - underwear and clothing for children

*Baby care items, particularly diapers

*Non-perishable food items (especially easy-access prepared foods such as soups, stews, tuna, pasta, etc.)

*Gift cards

All donations of needed items assist our families with these basic needs and help them stretch their very limited financial resources.

We need some sprucing up this spring at Family Promise of Morris County!  Volunteers are needed to help with some outdoor debris clean up, leaf raking, planting of seasonal flowers, mulching and other tasks that will help our facility be welcoming to our many clients.

This is a great opportunity for teams looking to get outside together and make a difference!

Family Promise in Morris County is in need of volunteers to assist with food preparation and delivery to clients.  No experience is necessary.  If you are interested, let us know and we will provide more information about scheduling and requirements.
