Morristown Neighborhood House

Who We Are

Morristown Neighborhood House (MNH) was founded in 1898 as a settlement house that helped Italian immigrants in becoming acclimated to a new culture. Our core mission is helping new immigrant families who are confronting economic challenges and fostering cross cultural acceptance. MNH currently runs programs in five cities and eight locations in Morris County, New Jersey serving 2,500 children and families in preschool, afterschool tutoring and mentoring and work force development programs. Recently, Morristown Neighborhood House became a subsidiary of Cornerstone Family Programs (formerly Family Service of Morris County). This combination with of two cornerstones of the community gives us the exciting opportunity to extend our outreach to areas in which we have not typically operated. Our two organizations offer complimentary programs that will allow us to respond more effectively to emerging needs of the community.

What We Do

We are a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers serving children, families and individuals who are confronting economic and social challenges by ensuring the existence of cultural, recreational, educational and social programs.
