Volunteers are needed to participate in the Spring Book Buddies project in celebration of the Week of the Young Child.  Volunteers will bring new, age-appropriate books for the children in the preschool/child care center being visited.  The volunteers will read to the children and will help lead a fun craft or other activity connected to either early literacy or the theme of the book.

The following preschools/child care centers are participating during the specified timeframe:

Monday, April 24:  The Learning Gate Association, Bridgewater, NJ

Tuesday, April 25: NORWESCAP Head Start, Phillipsburg, NJ

Wednesday, April 26: NORWESCAP Head Start, Hopatcong, NJ

Thursday, April 27:  Parsippany Child Day Care Center, Parsippany, NJ

Friday, April 28:  Montclair Child Development Center/Head Start, Glen Ridge, NJ

Volunteers will work in groups, with no more than 3 per classroom at each site.  A formal confirmation will be provided and volunteers signed up for a specific site will be contacted collectively to ensure the project components are finalized.
