Who We Are

As a nonprofit organization that generates financial resources from the contributing public, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) has a responsibility to ensure the proper stewardship of these resources. This site provides a means to report any suspected fraudulent or dishonest conduct related to ADA resources. The American Diabetes Association offers memberships to both consumers and health professionals. Choose the one which best suits your needs. Events & Fund Raising Each year thousands of people participate in American Diabetes Association events and fund raisers to increase awareness of diabetes and raise needed funds to support our mission. Volunteering There are 20.8 million children and adults in the U.S. with diabetes who need your time and skill. Make a difference in their lives by becoming a volunteer.

What We Do

The mission of the Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. To fulfill this mission the American Diabetes Association funds research publishes scientific findings provides information and other services to people with diabetes their families health professionals and the public. The Association is also actively involved in advocating for scientific research and for the rights of people with diabetes.
