Based on the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous the Anderson House program integrates a variety of treatment methods to help women shed old behavior patterns and adopt new healthy responsible ones. Residents are provided with shelter food and transportation and receive individual group and family counseling life skills education and case management in a structured and caring environment. Clients stay at Anderson House for a minimum of six months. The vast majority of residents are homeless and indigent.
