Morris Habitat For Humanity

Volunteers are needed in our ReStore and Construction department every week. New volunteers can sign up for a monthly orientation to learn all about the great areas and how to get started.

We build safe affordable energy efficient homes for low and moderate income families. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating homelessness. expertise and volunteer labor to repair safety issues and bring homes to code so that the family can remain in the home. Most of the building is completed by volunteers with professionals only helping with the most complicated aspects. Often their time is donated as well. The mortgage funds collected from our homeowners is put right back into the program to help fund the building of more homes. Habitat for Humanity is not a hand-out program - we offer a hand up into home ownership.
