Who We Are
Civilian Medical Reserve Corps. We are seeking community and civic minded volunteers who are willing to be trained to respond in any public health emergency. Both professional and medical active or retired volunteers are welcome to join our diversified group of volunteers. Everyone has a skill that would be useful in many types of situations. We conduct orientation quarterly. Cancer Coalition. Our coalition is made up of community members and cancer survivors organizations and non-profits who provide a range of cancer services. We seek and invite community members to join our cancer coalition. Our mission is to reduce the incidence of cancer and encourage people to get cancer screenings for Early Detection our Best Prevention. We meet quarterly to discuss opportunities to conduct cancer education and awareness through outreach without duplicating efforts.
What We Do
Dedicated to fostering healthy lifestyles and a safe environment through effective leadership in public health comprehensive planning development of proactive partnerships and continued commitment to public health. Lead agency for the Civilian Medical Reserve Corps Volunteers and County Cancer Coalition.
