Who We Are
Founded in 1932, New Eyes for the Needy purchases new prescription eyeglasses through a voucher program for children and adults in the United States who cannot afford glasses on their own. New Eyes accepts, recycles and distributes donated glasses for poor people overseas.
What We Do
New Eyes provides new glasses to low-income U.S. residents and used glasses to the poor throughout the developing world.
We seek volunteers to help us administrate our new prescription eyeglass program and to assist in sorting and categorizing used glasses for distribution overseas. Training is provided.
