This non-profit is run solely by volunteers. Money is raised from fund-raising events and donations from businesses and individuals.
One of the main programs is the IES Brain Research Foundation Summer Student Fellowship program to attract bright motivated young minds to the field of neuroscience, in hopes these young scientists will add to the work of the senior scientists towards effective treatment and cures for devastating brain diseases and disorders such as: brain cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, MS, ALS, autism, stroke, addiction, pain, depression, TBI (concussion, etc.), epilepsy, etc.
Our speaker bureau educates the public on the importance of this research and discusses how it will effect the cure & prevention of brain diseases and conditions. We hope more volunteers will help us with our mission for brain health.
