Help us spread the word about Free Tax Preparation assistance available to low and moderate income individuals and famiilies in our area! We need volunteers to take flyers and post cards and post them at varous locations throughout their communities, ideally where people gather such as post offices, laudromats, grocery stores, convenience stores, malls, libraries, houses of worship, etc.
Last year, United Way helped saved local people over $700,000 in the cost of having their tax returns prepared and this year we want to do even more! By helping to spread the word, more people who qualify for this service will participate. We need YOU to help get the word out.
While this is a Make A Difference Day project, it can be done any time. Whenever works for you and your schedule. Simply sign up and we will get you flyers and post cards to post around your community, town, neighborhood!
