The Watershed Institute is looking for outgoing individuals who love nature to serve as Welcome Desk volunteers. Our Welcome Desk volunteers are ambassadors for our organization; they talk to visitors about what we do, inform them about our programs, answer the phone, make sales in our gift shop, and generally assist the organization. Weekday shifts are 9am - 1pm and 1pm - 5 pm. Many of our welcome desk volunteers do a weekly shift, but some volunteer as subs once or twice a month or as they can. Our weekend welcome desk shifts are 10am -1 pm and 1pm - 4pm; weekend volunteers might work as many as 4 shifts a month or as little as a shift every few months. We are very flexible! All training provided in our beautiful LEED platinum certified Watershed Center. Come join our family of volunteers!
