DAWN Center for Independent Living (DAWNcil) is seeking individuals ages 21 and older to serve as Mentors to high school youth enrolled in the RAMP Program. RAMP is a career – focused program designed to help at-risk youth learn about job options, learn new skills, set goals for themselves, and identify concrete steps to help achieve them. The RAMP curriculum facilitated by an employee of DAWNcil has a strong focus on STEM exploration (science, technology, engineering and math).
We are looking for Mentors to help make a difference!
Youth will be recruited from local schools in Morris, Sussex, or Warren catchment areas. RAMP includes in-person meetings, email check-ins, hands on activities and fun community outings. Free training will be provided to help you understand your role as a RAMP Mentor.
