VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance)

Become a volunteer tax preparer in Morris, Sussex or Warren Counties. Be part of the community that helps seniors and low income tax payers prepare their taxes. Free training is provided by trained VITA preparers. You will be trained in Federal and State filing (both paper filing and e-filing) and in tax law. You will need to make a commitment over a six month period: 3 months training (November through January) and 3 months preparing (February through April).
