Description

The Stickley Seminar is a free, 6-session training course that prepares potential docents to give tours of The Stickley Museum to the general public and visiting groups. Docents play a vital role in the daily operations of the Stickley Museum, guiding tours and serving as the face of the museum for visitors from around the world. It’s rewarding work that is great for anyone with a curious mind who enjoys meeting new people.

While potential docents are required to a complete all 6-sessions (additional dates to be determined), the first two-hour session of the Stickley Seminar, set for Thursday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m., is recommended for anyone interested in volunteering at the Stickley Museum in any capacity. Anyone interested in taking the Seminar should contact the museum for more information at 973-540-0311 or email education@stickleymuseum.org.
