Bonnie Brae is a private nonprofit accredited JCAHO residential treatment and special education school founded in 1916 and located in Bernards Township New Jersey. The 100-acre campus is currently home to 97 residents ages 11 to 18. Most of these children have been referred by the Division of Youth and Family Services and arrive at Bonnie Brae after an average of eight out-of-home placements including juvenile shelters, foster homes and psychiatric hospitals. Bonnie Brae helps these children and youth to reclaim their full life potential and return to their homes, communities and society as independent, self-sufficient and productive citizens.
